Our Story
Every big idea starts small. For us, it began right here in Timaru, when we noticed how often local businesses were missing calls, losing bookings, or drowning in admin. Hairdressers, mechanics, nail salons, the work was brilliant, but the behind-the-scenes stress was holding them back.
We believed there had to be a smarter way. So we built Convo AI, an automation solution designed to give business owners back their time, cut costs, and keep customers flowing in smoothly.

Co-Founder & CEO
Born and raised in Timaru, Koby has always carried an entrepreneurial drive. At just 15, he launched his first Shopify store, successfully running a dropshipping business and earning his first income entirely on his own. Since then, he's continued to explore e-commerce and develop a sharp understanding of both digital markets and local business needs. With a unique perspective and a passion for building long-term ventures, Koby brings creativity, vision, and a strong business mindset to Convo AI.
Leon Clarkson
Co-Founder & CTO
Growing up surrounded by coders, Leon developed a natural curiosity for technology early on. Over the past two years, he has dedicated himself to learning programming and diving deep into AI automation. His technical skills, combined with a disciplined and passionate approach both in his work and in sports make him a driving force behind the innovation at Convo AI. Leon's ability to bridge complex coding with practical business solutions ensures the technology stays both cutting-edge and user-friendly.
